Coach Cooper has been a member of the Woodside Swim Team for fourteen years!! He has been a swim coach for the past five years; one as the head coach of Woodside Swim Team, two as our assistant coach and two as an age group coach for Southern Tide Swim Club. He graduated from South Aiken High School and is attending University of South Carolina. As the co-captain of the South Aiken men's swim team, Cooper led the team to their first AAAA Division Championship win this season. In addition to being a state champion swimmer, Coach Cooper holds multiple regional championship wins. Cooper is also a lifeguard and pool manager at Woodside Country Club. He is excited to have another wonderful season with Woodside Swim Team.
Jane has been swimming on Woodside Swim Team since fourth grade. She also swims for South Aiken High School swim team, and during the off season, is on the South Aiken track team. Jane is returning this season as an assistant coach and is thrilled to be a coach again this season.
2026 will be Ashton's third season as an assistant coach. He has been on the Woodside Swim Team since he moved to Aiken in 2022. Ashton has been swimming competitively since fourth grade. He is a rising junior at South Aiken High School and is on the South Aiken swim team and varsity soccer team. Ashton and the men's South Aiken swim team won the AAAA Division Championship in 2024.
Ella has been on the Woodside Swim Team since 2015 and also swims competitively at Southern Tide Swim Club. She is currently a rising junior at South Aiken High School and is on the South Aiken swim team.
Coach Natalie has been on Woodside Swim Team since 2021. She is a rising sophomore at North Augusta Middle School. She has been on the North Augusta High School swim team for three years, and made the State Team during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. She is excited to be added to the Woodside coaching staff this season.
